Important: CYPnosis is a clinical education and decision support tool. It is not a medical device, not FDA-cleared, and not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. By using this website or applying for access to the CYPnosis tool, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing cypnosis.com or submitting an early access request, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use this site or submit a request.

Nature of the tool

CYPnosis is a mechanistic pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling engine. Its outputs represent:

Modeled exposure-equivalent estimates derived from regulatory DDI math
Mechanistic burden indices (serotonergic, D2 occupancy, QT potential, anticholinergic load)
Regimen structural complexity metrics

These outputs are intended to inform clinical reasoning. They are not diagnostic determinations, clinical recommendations, or predictions of adverse events or clinical outcomes.

Scope limitations — read carefully

CYPnosis does not and cannot:

Predict the likelihood or probability of adverse drug reactions in individual patients
Replace clinical judgment, physical examination, or therapeutic drug monitoring
Replace ECG monitoring or laboratory assessment for QT or other parameters
Account for all factors affecting individual patient drug response
Serve as the sole basis for prescribing, dose adjustment, or medication discontinuation decisions

Medication decisions must always be made by a qualified healthcare professional in the context of a complete clinical evaluation.

Intended users

CYPnosis is intended for use by licensed healthcare professionals and clinical researchers. It is not intended for use by patients or the general public to make or inform personal medical decisions.

No warranty

CYPnosis is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any output generated by the tool. Model outputs are derived from published pharmacokinetic parameters and regulatory DDI frameworks; they may not reflect all relevant clinical factors for a given patient or situation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CYPnosis and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or reliance on the tool or its outputs, including but not limited to clinical decisions made on the basis of tool outputs.

Intellectual property

The CYPnosis name, logo, engine architecture, drug library, and all associated documentation are proprietary. No portion of the tool, its outputs, or its underlying code may be reproduced, distributed, or used to train AI models without written permission.

Early access

Submitting an access request does not guarantee access. We reserve the right to grant, deny, or revoke access at our discretion. Early access users may be subject to additional terms communicated at the time of account creation.

Regulatory status

CYPnosis has not been cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. It is not a medical device under 21 CFR Part 820. It is intended for clinical education and decision support purposes only.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use following a material update constitutes acceptance. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of , without regard to conflict of law principles.
